Help us build wildlife rope bridges that keep native tree‑dwelling wildlife in Yarra Ranges National Park safe and connected. Our wildlife rope bridges help wildlife like possums and gliders move safely across storm‑damaged habitat, reconnecting the canopy where trees have been lost.

Storms, fire and extreme weather can take a heavy toll on the canopy that native wildlife depends on – think the 2021 storms in the Yarra Ranges which damaged a large number of trees. When trees fall, possums, gliders and other tree‑dwelling wildlife are suddenly cut off from the food, shelter and safe pathways they rely on. What looks like a small gap to us can be a life‑threatening barrier for them.
Our wildlife rope bridges help reconnect these gaps in the canopy. Each bridge creates a safe, elevated pathway that allows native wildlife to move freely across damaged habitat, reducing the risk of road crossings, predation and isolation.
By donating, you’re helping us install more rope bridges in the areas that need them most. Your support directly funds materials, rope bridge creation, installation and monitoring to ensure each bridge remains safe and effective for the wildlife who depend on it.
