Our Youth vs Justice Basketball Game is a powerful community event that brings young people together with local justice and law‑enforcement representatives. The event aims to inspire and encourage both youth and community engagement through connecting young people with local justice and law-enforcement representatives. The match promotes respect, teamwork and connection while celebrating First Nations culture and pride.
The day features live cultural performances, didgeridoo, a kids’ disco with traditional dance and a community BBQ that encourages yarning, sharing and cultural learning. It’s a welcoming, inclusive space where youth can build leadership skills, strengthen relationships and celebrate identity.
Funds raised will go directly towards game equipment and First Nations jerseys for Youth and Justice players, a Welcome to Country ceremony, cultural performers and community BBQ for families and Elders.
